Thank you for taking the time to download the update to ABC's Monday
Night Football (MNF). To update your copy of MNF download the file
(MNF update.exe) to your computer. After you have completed the
download double click on the file to begin updating your copy of MNF. The update assumes you have installed MNF in the folder c:\Monday Night Football. If you have installed MNF in another folder you must type in the
location and the name of that folder. Once the file has finished copying
the update process is complete and you will be able to play the new version
1.1 of ABC's Monday Night Football.
NOTE: The file will automatically overwrite the files in your folder. If
you want to save any teams or playbooks you should copy them to another
location on your computer.
ATTENTION Multiplayers: Note that unless both players have the same version
of MNF they will not be able to play against one another. If you find that
your opponent does not have the updated version. Please have them download
it from our web site.
Control Panel
The highlights in the team edit monitors can now be toggled on and off by
right clicking and selecting auto loop on/off. When off the speed of the
control panel is increased.
League Screen
The following options have been added to the league screen (Options menu)
to increase speed of league games:
1. Textures (on/off)
2. Music (on/Off)
3. Sound (on/off)
4. Play by Play (on/off)
Halftime Screen
Added Score total at the bottom of the Team Stats menu
Editing & Saving Options
If you have team/playbooks saved in your MNF teams and playbook folders on
your hard drive with the same name as the original ones on the CD-ROM. The
game will automatically default to the files on your hard drive. If you
would like the option to load the original teams/playbooks or ones that
you've created you must assign different names to your teams/playbooks.
EX. - If you want to create several edited "broncos" rosters. You would
save them as broncos1.tmn, broncos2.tmn, etc.
Keyboard Controls
The Esc. key will return the user to the Control Panel during computer vs.
